Pulses and cereals are rich in proteins and provide the protein intake required. Dairy goods are wealthy in Calcium. Poultry, fish and meat should also be part of a healthy eating plan.

Fiber rich foods should be given preference. They provide all the required nutritional value to the human body.

The above mentioned foods should generally take care of all requirements for a healthy body. What one needs to keep in mind is how much is the requirement. The amount of food consumed would be different for kids and adults, men and women, weak and strong people depending on their body structure and weight.

What a person needs to avoid at any given time is going on a crash diet to achieve results. What a person can do is vary the quantities and type of food in case weight loss is the issue. But any sort of dieting should certainly be avoided.

Lastly a healthy eating plan is never complete without consuming lots of water daily.
